How BCW Therapists Help
Therapists at BCW provide more than supportive conversation. We deliver structured, goal-oriented care rooted in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), trauma-informed approaches, solution-focused therapy, and skills-based interventions.
Care includes comprehensive intake assessment, collaborative goal setting, measurable treatment planning, skill development, and ongoing evaluation of progress. We remain engaged to help clients build tools that extend beyond sessions and create meaningful, sustainable change.

What We Provide Directly

BCW therapists provide the following services internally
  • Comprehensive mental health assessments
  • Individual therapy (short-term and longer-term, depending on need)
  • Structured treatment planning and measurable goal tracking
  • Skills-based interventions for stress, mood, and anxiety
  • Trauma-informed stabilization and processing (within scope)
  • Care coordination with BCW dietitians and social workers

Services Coordinated Through Trusted Partners
When needs extend beyond the scope of outpatient therapy, we coordinate referrals with trusted providers while maintaining supportive involvement.
These referrals may include psychiatry for medication management, intensive outpatient programs, substance use treatment programs, specialized trauma programs, inpatient stabilization services, neuropsychological testing providers, or specialty medical providers.

Follow-Up and Accountability

Our process is structured and collaborative to ensure care remains focused and effective.
  • Initial sessions prioritize comprehensive assessment and goal clarification.
  • A treatment plan with measurable objectives is developed and shared with the client.
  • Progress is reviewed regularly to assess symptom reduction, functional improvement, and goal attainment.
  • Treatment adjustments are made as needed to maintain momentum and relevance.
  • When goals are achieved or stability improves, a transition or maintenance plan is created, with the option to re-engage as life circumstances evolve.
